The Journey Forward
For most of my life, I have been a builder, a maker, and a problem solver. I am a retired military veteran who spent 25 years serving as a Shipwright. Throughout my career, I had the privilege of working in a variety of woodworking and fabrication facilities, where craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail were simply part of the job.
Over the years, I also created displays for military events, ceremonies, and retirements—work that taught me something important: the things we choose to display often carry a much deeper meaning than the objects themselves. Woodworking, fabrication, design, and eventually 3D printing became hobbies that allowed me to continue creating.
In the fall of 2025, a journey to Paris reignited my creative purpose. Being surrounded by its architecture, art, and craftsmanship reminded me how much I loved creating. I decided to bring all of those pieces together—CAD, 3D printing, and decades of hands-on knowledge—to launch Forte Design Studio.
Today, Forte is the culmination of a lifetime of making things. I believe the things we collect tell pieces of our story. Whether it is a military keepsake or a piece of memorabilia, our collections deserve to be protected and proudly displayed. Welcome to the beginning of the next chapter.
